Two deaths in one day, who will number 3 be?

Farrah and Micheal both dead today. Farrah losing her battle with cancer earlier today and just this afternoon Micheal Jackson suffering a fatal heart attack.

Farrah Fawcett was 62 and Micheal Jackson 50. Normally celebrities die in groups of 3 so who will be next?

Calvin Borel comes in third in the Belmont

Calvin Borel, the man who dropped out of school at the age of 12 years old to become a jockey has finished 3rd in the Belmont on Mine that Bird. Well, he almost got the "human" triple crown. Mind that Bird was being difficult to handle during the race.

Models first, movie stars later

How many movie stars can you name that started out as models? Marilyn Monroe comes to mind first then Raquel Welch followed by Cybil Shepard. Did you know that Halle Berry also started out as a model? The Biography Channel even did a show about them. I wonder why they managed to leave out the male movie stars that started out as models.

Of course there are those that go from modeling straight to Playboy pinups and then on to the silver screen. With the advent of the internet, video models are no longer required to live in New York City or L.A., those areas are now for the runway models like those for Victoria Secret.

Many of the female models started out modeling clothes but a few of them started out with modeling cosmetics in print ads.

I wonder if one of them will make it to the silver screen? Maybe one of them already has. Summer movies

Have you seen Night at the Museum yet? How about Star Trek? Angels and Demons? There are plenty of early summer releases and more to come. I am betting there will be lines waiting for the next Harry Potter installment. This is a movie going summer. If you can't go on vacation this year at least treat yourself to a movie on the big screen.
